CONTEST CONSISTED OF;
~ 1 minute couples freestyle (music chosen by organizers)
~ 1 minute individual couple choreography performance
~ Elimination of couples (3 - 5 couples)
~ Final Round 1 minute final couples freestyle dancing

1ST PLACE WINNER: 
(Preliminary Round)
~ Represents their city at the Tri-State Salsa Open Championship, bypasses the Elimination Round, goes straight to Final Round
~ Cash Prize and trophy by promoter
~ Free weekend at the Cincinnati Salsa Festival, Full pass and one night stay at a chosen hotel (Saturday)
2ND PLACE WINNER:
(Preliminary Round)
~Represents their city at the Tri-State Salsa Open Championship, bypasses the Elimination Round, goes straight to Final Round
~ Cash Prize and trophy by promoter
~ The Cincinnati Salsa Festival Full pass for only $70.00 per person
3RD PLACE WINNER:
(Preliminary Round)
~ Cash Prize and trophy by promoter
~ The Cincinnati Salsa Festival Full pass for only $70.00 per person

THE TRI-STATE SALSA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2010

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THE ELIMINATION ROUND!
Registration fee is $50.00 per couple which includes free admission to the Pre-party & After-party.

ALL INSTRUCTORS, PROFESSIONAL DANCERS, & AMATEURS ARE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE!

THE ELIMINATION ROUND WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CINCINNATI SALSA FESTIVAL PRE-PARTY EVENT ON FRIDAY JULY 30TH 

THE FINAL ROUND WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE CINCINNATI SALSA FESTIVAL AFTER-PARTY EVENT ON SATURDAY, JULY 31ST 

FIRST PLACE WINNER:
- Represent the TriState at The Midwest Salsa Open Championship, and gets a FREE 
full weekend package to The Chicago Salsa Congress
- A first place trophy
- $500.00 cash
- Will perform at the professional showcase on Sunday August 1st at The Cincinnati Salsa Festival
- (2) tickets to the Cincinnati Salsa Cruise 

SECOND PLACE WINNER:
- A second place trophy
- $300.00 cash prize
-(2) tickets to the Cincinnati Salsa Cruise 

 THIRD PLACE WINNER: 
- A third place trophy
-$200.00 cash prize
-(2) tickets to the Cincinnati Salsa Cruise
